Jobkeeper Wage Subsidy for Businesses

Available to all eligible business owners with or without employees...

The Jobkeeper Subsidy released yesterday will be available to all eligible business owners “with or without employees”.

Until now, sole traders, self-employed, and businesses without employees have been overlooked in terms of financial assistance in these difficult times.

To access the JobKeeper Subsidy, certain eligibility criteria must still be met whether you’re a business with employees, or a business without employees.  Having up to date financial records is going to be very important. Employers and businesses without employees can register their interest in applying for the JobKeeper Payment via ato.gov.au from 30 March 2020. We have linked to the Government’s fact sheet here for you.  https://bit.ly/2JozwFJ

We are working on tax planning strategies covering all measures that have been introduced over the past few weeks. Every business is different and will require different strategies to maximise their entitlements. If you need assistance with any of these new measures over the coming weeks and months, please contact our office.
