Dean Kennedy
Dean studied his Bachelor of Business in Accounting at night school, while he ran his own business during the day. Halfway through his degree he sold his business and began to manage a busy law firm, completing his accounting degree in 2001.
Dean later went on to manage several larger law firms and an accounting firm. Alongside his daytime profession as an accountant, Dean assisted his wife running several businesses. When dealing with clients Dean has a hands on, entrepreneurial outlook with a solid understanding of financial issues from a business owners’ perspective.
In 2011 Dean started a consultancy and accounting firm to assist small businesses and individuals, offering guidance to clients in their ever-changing commercial environments. He relishes professional development and has a philosophy of embracing technology and constant improvement, the sole takeaway from a strategic planning subject back in uni.
Away from the office Dean keeps busy with his family, volunteering with bicycles for humanity, a small hobby farm, gardening, boating and motorbikes.
